伊斯蘭國（IS）日前攻陷敘利亞西部霍姆斯省的帕米拉古城，敘國國營電視台24日報導，IS戰士4天來在當地大開殺戒，至少處死400人，其中包括婦孺。
國營電視台引述城內居民談話稱，「這群恐怖分子以死者和政府合作、不遵守（IS）命令為由，屠殺超過400人…並毀損他們的遺體。」
該台報導，遇害的還有數十名公務員，包括醫院的護理主管，連她的家人也都無法倖免。敘利亞人權觀察組織說，有些人甚至遭斬首身亡。國營電視台畫面中，可見受傷軍人被送至敘國總統巴夏．阿塞德掌控的濱海區域醫院。
據IS支持者上傳網路的影片，聖戰士在帕米拉的公家建築內，逐一搜索政府軍下落，並拆卸牆上的阿塞德總統與其父、前獨裁者老阿塞德肖像。人權團體表示，可見數百具屍體橫陳街頭，他們大多效忠敘國政府。
目前尚無法確認屠殺消息真實性，但自IS從政府軍手中搶下人口5萬的帕米拉，就多次傳出IS聖戰士在當地行刑的報導。
另一方面，針對伊拉克西部安巴省首府、戰略重鎮拉瑪迪17日落入IS之手，美國國防部長卡特24日抨擊，占盡人數優勢的伊拉克部隊竟然選擇撤軍，顯示伊軍缺乏對抗IS的意志。
伊國軍方則反駁卡特的評論毫無根據，政府軍24日已在什葉派民兵和遜尼派部落戰士支援下發起反攻，以遏止IS攻勢。新聞相關影音
